Welcome to Marco's Coal Fired Ballpark, a gem in the heart of Denver’s vibrant food scene. This local pizza restaurant serves up a delightful variety of Neapolitan-style pizzas that keep patrons coming back for more. With a commitment to quality and authenticity, Marco's is not just a place to dine; it's an experience that beautifully marries flavors with an inviting atmosphere.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pizza, which showcases a variety of options catering to all culinary preferences, including gluten-free and vegan choices. Indulge in the Vegan Pizza with its rich San Marzano tomato sauce adorned with fragrant oregano and garlic, finished off with the delightful Violife Vegan Parmesan. Even non-vegans rave about it! At $20, it's a steal for such a high-quality pie. If you’re a fan of roasted vegetables, don’t miss the VG Arrosto Pizza, melding flavors of oven-roasted veggies and vegan mozzarella for just $26.89.

For those with a taste for traditional Italian fare, the Eggplant Rollatini offers a tantalizing gluten-free option. It features fried eggplant lovingly rolled and packed with creamy ricotta, all enveloped in a luscious San Marzano tomato sauce for about $20.35. The thoughtful attention to celiac-friendly options guarantees that everyone can savor these flavors without worry.

Now, let’s talk about the ambiance. Despite the humble exterior, stepping inside Marco's reveals a cozy yet vibrant space with beautiful murals that resonate with the energy of the city. There’s ample seating both indoors and on the outdoor patio, equipped with gas heating lamps, making it an inviting space year-round. As one pleased patron, Nia, Lens Go, aptly noted, “Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful murals on the outdoor patio.” This speaks to the restaurant's effort to create a comfortable dining experience that feels both casual and adorned.

The reviews speak volumes about Marco's Coal Fired Ballpark. Karly Wilson, on a quest for great gluten-free options, remarked on how the gluten-free pizzas stack up against traditional offerings, declaring them “the best one [she’s] found.” Jenna Park, pleasantly surprised by the quality despite the casual ambiance, will undoubtedly return when craving pizza again—a sentiment echoed by many.

Each visit promises not just a meal but an authentic taste of Italy, reimagined through the lens of local flavors and ingredients. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or a night out with friends, Marco’s makes sure every bite is packed with love and satisfaction.

Was on the hunt for good gluten-free pizza and this is the best one I have found. Tried the Williamsburg and the Pistachio, both here very flavorful and the crust was delicious. My friend who is not gluten-free could not tell the difference. Also tried the Spinach Artichoke dip with gluten-free focaccia which was good. Went at lunch hour and it was pretty empty but service was a bit slow but not terrible, only one waitress. Would definitely recommend if you are gluten-free, lots of options that they execute well.

Looks like a generic sports bar and nothing special outside. But don't get fooled by that. The pizzas are incredible. So delicious and great quality. We all are pleasantly surprised. When we are craving for pizza in Denver, no doubt that we will revisit here again!

The best gluten free margherita pizza I have ever had. You actually can't tell the diference! Thin crust. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful murals on the outdoor patio. Gas heating lamps outside.

We ordered the Del Re and added ricotta along with the Williamsburg both gluten free. I was worried the Del Re would be too mushroomy, but it was outstanding, especially with ricotta added on. They are making amazing high quality Neapolitan pizza. We visited a very popular pizzeria in NYC called Kesté Pizza e Vino known for their gluten free crust, and the pizza here tasted the same. Whether you’re gluten free or not, this restaurant knocks Neapolitan pizza out of the park. They have a free parking lot next to the restaurant. They offer gluten free beer!

The pizza was good, reasonably priced. Our expectations were high after seeing them on the Michelin guide, but its just a nice wood fired pizza joint.

We found out about this place from the downtown Denver food tour. We went back that evening after the tour to get more! The pizza is amazing! Full of flavor, well cooked, good price. Great service!
